Our client is a global healthcare company providing diagnostic and drug development capabilities to make a difference through clinical, non-clinical, and commercial settings! We are seeking a Medical Laboratory Technologist or Medical Technician to join their growing team on 3 rd shift!
Location: Coral Gables, FL
Schedule: 3 rd shift (Sun-Thurs 10p - 6:30a)
Pay: $38/hr
Responsibilities:
Perform routine and complex technical procedures and functions according to departmental Standard Operating Procedures.
Set up, adjust, maintain and troubleshoot medical laboratory instrumentation.
Analyze the results of tests and experiments to ensure conformity to specifications, using special mechanical and electrical devices.
Prepare, test, and evaluate new reagents or controls.
Report accurate and timely test results to deliver quality patient care
Obtain specimens, cultivating, isolating and identifying microorganisms for analysis.
Qualifications:
Must have Medical Laboratory Technologist License or Medical Laboratory Technician Certification.
ASCP OR AMT CERTIFICATION IS PREFFERRED – FLORIDA TECHNOLOGIST LICENSE IS REQUIRED.
