Our cosmetics/personal care client in Hunterdon County, NJ is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join their team. This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate!
Location: Hunterdon County, NJ
Pay: $20-25 per hour
Type: Contract-to-hire
Responsibilities:
Develop prototypes for formula optimization, focusing on enhancing physical and clinical properties as per project requirements.
Conduct thorough assessments of formula physical and clinical properties, aligning with project objectives.
Design and optimize formulas to meet project specifications and goals.
Select ingredients strategically to achieve desired formula outcomes.
Evaluate lab stability of formulated products to ensure consistent performance.
Assess lab aesthetics of formulations to meet quality standards and consumer expectations.
Prepare formulas for testing, ensuring adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) guidelines.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support formulation development and refinement processes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field.
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
