Contract to Hire
Pay Rate: $ 20/hr-$26/hr
Schedule: Must be open to varied shifts
Responsibilities:
Work environment/department specified in requirements
Determine specimen acceptability for testing based on established criteria
Perform routine and complex technical procedures per departmental SOPs
Monitor, operate, and troubleshoot instrumentation to ensure functionality
Make technical decisions regarding testing and problem-solving
Prepare, test, and evaluate new reagents or controls
Report accurate and timely test results for quality patient care
Perform and document preventive maintenance and quality control procedures
Identify and replenish testing bench supplies as needed
Assist with specimen processing as required
Maintain a safe work environment and wear appropriate PPE
Requirements:
Associate degree in Biology, Chemistry, Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, or meet local regulatory (CLIA & State) requirement.
Minimum 1-2 years of clinical laboratory testing experience
