We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our driven research team that develops and supports an array of outstanding health sciences research programs. As a team you will have the opportunity to foster programs in the areas of basic, translational, mechanistic, and population research.

DIRECT HIRE POSITION

Up to $70,000

Hours per week: 40

Work Location: Raleigh, NC

Registered Nurse

• Provide nursing functions for patients served by an assertive community treatment team.

• Under the direction of the team psychiatrist, the nurse will provide management and supervision of medication administration to patients in their homes and other settings.

• Provide case management services for an assigned group of patients, including planning, developing, and monitoring of services and supports as delineated in the patient’s treatment plan.

Minimum Education/Experience Requirements:

• License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of North Carolina.

• Previous experience in a mental health setting.

• Previous experience working with individuals diagnosed with serious and persistent mental illness.

• Working knowledge of psychiatric medications and side effects to those medications.

• Previous employment on an ACT team.

Position/Schedule Requirements:

• Evening work occasionally, Exposure to Bloodborne Pathogens, On-call occasionally, Overtime occasionally, Patient care involved, Weekend work occasionally
