Job Description:
Execute high throughput protein expression and characterization experiments following in-silico/machine-learning guided designs.
Operate and maintain laboratory equipment including cell culture facilities, robotics, and general wet lab apparatus.
Independently plan and conduct experiments, troubleshoot procedures, and ensure timely completion of project milestones.
Collaborate within a matrixed team environment, supporting multiple projects simultaneously.
Perform routine maintenance of laboratory equipment and manage procurement of laboratory consumables.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of three (3+) years of experience in a related scientific discipline, or Master’s Degree in a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Hands-on expertise in protein expression and purification techniques.
Proficiency in protein characterization using biophysical assays.
Experience with molecular biology techniques such as PCR, vector cloning (infusion, gibson, and golden gate), and construct design is preferred.
