We are looking for a QA inspector to join a rapidly growing pharmaceutical and personal care manufacturing company in San Bernadino County, CA! You would be responsible for inspecting and evaluating personal care products, checking samples in-progress, and observing/inspecting procedure policies.
Type of Job : Temp-hire
Shift: 3rd shift – (9 p.m. start time)
Pay rate range: $20-24/hr.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct visual and functional inspections in-process of personal care items such as creams, lotions, shampoos, and other items to identify defects in product.
Maintain accurate records of inspection results, including type of defects, quantities, and any other relevant data.
Report product that is out of spec (OOS) and assist in investigations.
Ensure the inspection area and equipment is well-maintained and organized efficient and accurate inspections.
Ensure that all personal care products comply with industry regulations and standards, such as FDA guidelines, and work towards continuous improvement in meeting these requirements.
Collaborate with production and quality teams to identify areas for process improvement and implement corrective actions to prevent defects and non-conformities.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven experience as a QC Inspector in a GMP regulated environment.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify defects or deviations in product quality.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
Analytical and problem-solving skills to assist in process improvement and root cause analysis.
