Our Client, a Fortune 500 leader, is hiring for an Onsite Technician Be part of a team setting science in motion across the biopharma, healthcare and advanced technologies industries.
*Responsible for carrying out routine tasks at a customer site including but not limited to collection, laboratory glass washing, and restocking. May support both GMP and non-GMP laboratories. Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and regulatory requirements.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Operates equipment related to processing of glassware
Collects dirty glassware from laboratories throughout the customer site
Distributes clean and sterile glassware to laboratories through customer site
Maintains inventory of glassware and glass washing supplies; orders and replaces items as needed.
May use specialized equipment such as autoclave
Prepare solutions used in glassware processing
Updating and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures
Typically works in office, stockroom, or warehousing environment with adequate lighting and ventilation and a normal range of temperature and noise level.
Some physical effort is required. Work is mostly sedentary but does require walking, standing, bending, reaching, lifting, or carrying objects that may weigh up to 50lbs.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required
1+ years glass wash experience preferred and/or applicable work experience.
Previous experience working in a Laboratory setting a plus
Knowledge of scientific products and services a plus
